For this vintage the client wanted an admittedly emo vibe. They wanted to express their gratitude for the community that helped make this wine possible. Their garage was rapidly transformed into a winery over course of a toasty September day.

Over the coming weeks the client’s garage became a gathering place for friends to assist with the many phases of winemaking. A friend commented that on sorting day “everyone cried but nothing hurt”, and the name was born. I tried to capture the essence of the garage and the emo, bittersweet feeling of gathering and sharing.
